The folks over at ifixit.com has got their copy of the new kindle fire hd 7 inch model and found it is a simply designed and with good repairability.   Ifixit.com gave this tablet a 7/10 rating (10 being the easiest to repair).

BOTTOMLINE

Amazon's Kindle Fire HD is a big step forward over the original Fire, but still a little too customized to appeal to more serious geek users.  For the average users, this is the best tablet you can get.

If you need an inexpensive, feature rich, stylish 7-inch tablet, then you should strongly consider the new Kindle Fire HD.
